R -- EARLY MORNING COMPILATION OF NEWSCLIPS FROM SAME DAY NEWSPAPERS AND PUBLICATIONS SOL DE-RP01-00PP00340 DUE 122199 POC Linda Simpson, Contract Specialist, 202-426-0128 or David Tyma, Contracting Officer, 202-426-0130 This procurement falls under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This procurement is unrestricted. For twelve (12) months following award, the contractor shall provide news clippings (clipped from publications and containing all graphics and photographs) from same day news papers and major business publications throughout the United States. Actual clippings from publications required, transcripts are not acceptable. These clippings shall be customized to select articles of interest to the Department of Energy, using key words and/or phrases (subject to change at any time) and be delivered via facsimile prior to 9:30 a.m. EASTERN STANDARD TIME (EST) each workday. Transmissions are not required on weekends or Federal holidays, however, these clippings must be received prior to 9:30 a.m. EST the following Monday. Over sixty (60) publications across the United States are required to be monitored each day the publication is published ( a listing of newspapers, news magazines, key words and key phrases are available upon request).
