This is a competitive 8(a) acquisition restricted to firms currently eligible for participation in the Small Business Administration's 8(a) Program. The solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents from the EPS. Solicitation F30602-00-R5010 is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Federal Regulations are available at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The SIC code assigned by the SBA is 8744 for this 8(a) restricted acquisition with a small business size standard of $5.0. Performance-based services include, but are not limited to: mail handling/delivery; ADPE, equipment and building custodial services; Fitness Center management; multimedia support; administrative, technical and engineering support, as well as, technical library facilities and support. Some contractor employees will require SECRET level clearances. The ordering period of this commercial IDIQ is from date of award through 60 months with individual task orders issued on a 12-month basis. All eligible, responsible sources may submit a proposal which, if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. To be eligible to receive a contract award from a Department of Defense (DoD) activity after 01 Jun 98, contractors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. A site visit will be scheduled 10 days after electronic release of the RFP to allow potential offerors to tour the facilities receiving support under this requirement. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear significant concerns from Offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
