This proposed procurement is Unrestricted. The SIC Code is 1629. Estimated cost of construction is between $25,000,000.00 and $100,000,000.00. Completion no later than 525 calendar days. Work consists Perimeter dike enclosing 500 acres. Dike consists mainly of sand core, armor stone, geotextile fabric, etc. Environmental Habitat Restoration. The project will be advertised as a Request for Proposal. Competitive proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation package. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Large business firms are required to submit a subcontracting plan. The subcontracting goals are 70% for small business, 15% for small disadvantaged business, 8% for women owned small business and 1% for Hubzone small businesses. The subcontracting plan needs to be submitted at time of receipt for proposals. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, all contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for award of a Federal contract. The initial registration date expired 31 May 1998. Plans and Specs will be released on CD-ROM and will include the technical specifications and drawings as well as the solicitation document. There is no charge for these documents.
