E-MAIL: Roberta Knight, R.KNIGHT@larc.nasa.gov. NASA/LaRC plans to issue a IFB for Service and Materials to replace five HVAC systems at Building 1242, NASA Langley Research Center, Hampton, VA. The order of magnitude for the procurement is $100,000 to $250,000 and the effort shall be completed within 150 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The SIC Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 1711 and 7.0M, respectively. The anticipated release date of the IFB is on or about December 15, 1999 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about January 17, 2000. The firm date for receipt of bids or offers will be stated in the IFB. Drawings will be available from the Bid Distribution Office (757) 864-2547. All QUALIFIED responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See Internet Note "B".
