The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to obtain information from sources who feel they are capable of providing engineering and technical support services in the following functional areas: Aircrew Systems Projects, Fleet Support, Aircraft Systems and Evaluation, In-Flight Escape Systems, Crashworthy Escape Facilities, Personal Protection, Life Support Engineering, and Laboratory Support. These professional engineering and technical services will ensure effective and efficient continuity of RDT&E and Fleet support which has been significant to the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAVAIRWARCENAD) Crew Systems' accomplishment of its mission and has augmented its capability to support the fleet. It is the government's intent to award a single contract to the offeror who provides the best overall value to the government. The anticipated period of performance includes a base year and six (6) one year options. Performance of the contract will be at NAWCAD, Patuxent River, MD. A draft statement of work is available electronically to interested parties, via the point of contact below. It is requested that interested parties submit a capability statement/documentation (under 10 pages) specifically addressing the Statement of Work tasking, potential teaming arrangements, related past performance, general corporate information, and their business size.
