SYNOPSIS@PHIL.FISC.NAVY.MIL. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center
Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure technical, testing
and implementation support for the PX02/04 financial application for
the Navy Fleet Material Support Office, Mechanicsburg, PA. The proposed
effort will have a period of performance to commence in January, 2000
and extend through June, 2000. This effort will be covered by a new
contract and/or modification to an existing contract. The request for
quotations will contain a statement of work that identifies the task
requirements in the areas of user acceptance testing, program trouble
report correction, production rollout, stress testing, production
preparation, end user training, preparation of functional
documentation, production support and enhancement assistance. The
eventual contract action is for services that the Government intends to
solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with International
Integration, Inc. of Cambridge, MA pursuant to the authority of 10
U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only OneResponsible Source and No Other Supplies or
Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, as implemented by Federal
Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1. International Integration, Inc.
developed the PX02/04 financial application and is the only source with
the requisite expertise, knowledge and information necessary to provide
the required services. Interested persons may identify their interest
and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is
not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals
received by the specified response date will be considered by the
Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this
proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within
the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally
be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct
a competitive procurement. The Standard Industrial Classification Code
