SPAWARSYSCEN San Diego, intends to solicit and award a firm fixed type contract to Computer Systems Application Team, San Diego, CA, on a sole source basis for support of the IT-21 re-engineering effort of ASKIT (Aviation Storekeeper Information Tracking) System, to include architecture, hardware, software and functional processes. Services required in engineering and systems analysis, development support, maintenance and management of ASKIT in the areas of functional requirements analysis, automatic data processing, programming support, database management, training, trouble call support, and system re-engineering for IT-21 compliance. Proficiency in ASKIT system (architecture, hardware, software and functionality) FoxPro, Visual FoxPro, DOS and Windows operating system is required. A thorough functional understanding of Aviation Storekeepers accounting functions, OPTAR accounting procedures, and aviator's fuel and non-fuel reporting and accounting processes is needed. The requirement is a follow-on to a previous purchase order. Commencing approximately January 15, 2000 with a ten-month duration.
