The work will include planning and designing appraisals and investigations throughout the DOE in functional areas such as environment, safety, and health and engineering; performing management, operational and technical systems analyses; participation as members of appraisal teams for planning, conduct, analysis and report writing processes. In addition, the Offeror will provide procedures and systems support, assistance in preparation of presentations, editing, graphics, reproduction services and other administrative support necessary to support the issuance of reports on appraisals and analysis conducted. Access to classified material will be involved and the Contractor must have or be capable of being granted appropriate security clearances at the time of contract award. This acquisition is set aside for small businesses. The applicable SIC code is 8742 and the size standard is $5.0 million. A Fixed-Rate, Award Fee, Labor-Hour contract is contemplated for one thirty-six (36) month base period (239,940 direct productive labor hours) and two twelve month options (79,980 direct productive labor hours each).
