DELETING THE DESCRIPTION FIELD OF THE PREVIOUS CBD NOTICE FOR
DE-RP01-000OA00005 DATED 12/02/99, 3:15 P.M. AND REPLACES THE
DESCRIPTION FIELD WITH THE FOLLOWING: The United States Department of
Energy has a requirement for the acquisition through a competitive
small business set-aside for the Office of Independent Oversight and
Performance Assurance. The work will include the planning and design of
appraisals and investigations throughout the DOE in functional areas
such as safeguards and security, cyber security, emergency management,
counter terrorism, engineering, and a variety of management,
operational and technical systems analyses. In addition, the Offeror
will provide procedures and systems support, assistance in preparation
of presentations, editing, graphics, reproduction services,
installation and maintenance of computer equipment to support appraisal
teams and other administrative support necessary to support the
issuance of reports on appraisals and analyses conducted.Access to
classified material will be involved and the Contractor must have or be
capable of being granted appropriate security clearances at the time of
contract award. This acquisition is set aside for small businesses. The
applicable SIC code is 8742 and the size standard is $5.0 million. A
Fixed-Rate, Award Fee, Labor-Hour contract is contemplated for one
thirty-six (36) month base period (273,420 direct productive labor
hours) and two twelve month options (91,140 direct productive labor
hours each). NO TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL BE
ACCEPTED. THERE WILL BE NO PRINTED COPY OF THE SOLICITATION AVAILABLE.
The solicitation will be posted on the internet. To obtain a copy of
the solicitation, interested parties must go to the following address
