AND REPLACES THE DESCRIPTION FIELD WITH THE FOLLOWING: The United States Department of Energy has a requirement for the acquisition through a competitive small business set-aside for the Office of Independent Oversight and Performance Assurance. The work will include the planning and design of appraisals and investigations throughout the DOE in functional areas such as safeguards and security, cyber security, emergency management, counter terrorism, engineering, and a variety of management, operational and technical systems analyses. In addition, the Offeror will provide procedures and systems support, assistance in preparation of presentations, editing, graphics, reproduction services, installation and maintenance of computer equipment to support appraisal teams and other administrative support necessary to support the issuance of reports on appraisals and analyses conducted.Access to classified material will be involved and the Contractor must have or be capable of being granted appropriate security clearances at the time of contract award. This acquisition is set aside for small businesses. The applicable SIC code is 8742 and the size standard is $5.0 million. A Fixed-Rate, Award Fee, Labor-Hour contract is contemplated for one thirty-six (36) month base period (273,420 direct productive labor hours) and two twelve month options (91,140 direct productive labor hours each).
