The proposed requires installation of a Technology for Communications International (TCI)antenna, model number 527-3E-06, twin tower, twin curtain 2-30Mhz, Log Periodic. THE LOCATION FOR CONSTRUCTION IS Okeechobee, Florida. The requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. The Standard Industrial Classification is (SIC) is 1623 with average annual sales of 17 million. The requirement estimate is between $25,000 to $100,000. . The Government will pay for and ship antenna to installation location. . No electric or water available at site. . Land is flat and cleared and is used as cow pasture. Four wheel drive vehicles required due to poor soil conditions when wet. Location of site is 1000 feet off main road. Assume additional concrete because of possible low soil compaction. Provisions must be made to transport concrete for 29 foundation locations. . Government will have all necessary permits for tower construction. .All towers and guys will be fenced in using 4"x4" posts & 3 each 1" x 6" facing boards. Post will be no more than 6 feet on center. All wood to be pressure or salt treated. . Vendor will provide equipment to trench and install antenna heliax from antenna to transmitter building. Distance approximately 500 feet. Vendor will install connectors on building and antenna side. Vendor will provide and install grounding cable (2/0) and hookup from antenna to inside transmitter building. Vendor to provide 3 each ground rods at antenna and 3 each ground rods at transmitter building and to be Cad-Welded together. . Vendor will test Heliax cable run by Spectrum Analyzer or TDR before burying to ensure no problems exist. . Vendor will install tower lighting kits and remote sensors for monitoring company and test system for propoer operation. Vendor will provide any additional electrical service or special requirements needed for hookup of lighting kits. . Antenna construction and erection will be done by tower personnel from parent company, no subsor local contractors to be used. Local vendors may be used for other services such as trenching, digging, concrete pouring, electrical and tower/guy fence installations. . Projected completion 60 days after receipt of order. . Upon request, Government will supply vendor with installation drawings. . Government will supply the following: a) 527-3E Antenna and installation hardware b) 500 feet 7/8" Heliax Cable and Connectors c) Tower Lighting Kits and cables d) Remote lighting monitor sensors and cabling The Government may evaluate proposals and make award without discussions.
