Work includes the prepatory work for the construction of five yard tracks in the Staging Yard, including site work, drainage, fencing, fire protection, lighting and lighting protection. Included within the work required is clearing and grubbing of approximately 5 hectares, common excavation of approximately 112,000 cubic meters, and approximately 6,500 cubic meters of compacted fill at the Staging Yard Area. Construction of the track (ballast, ties, rail, OTM, turnout, grade crossings and bonding and grounding) will be performed by others. Estimated cost range of this project is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Plans and specifications will available on or about December 21, 1999, and will be provided on Compact Disks (CD-ROMS). IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT THE NUMBER OF CD-ROMS WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE(1) PER FIRM. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a printed hard copy format.
