Lumber and plywood must be grade stamped. If a grade stamp does not exist or is not available for the supplies to be furnished, or when it would be impractical to grade stamp a particular item, each truck or rail car shipment must be supported by an official inspection certificate (at contractor's expense). Certificate to be issued by an approved agency as required by the contract/order. A mill certificate is not acceptable. All responsible sources may submit an offer by providing descriptive literature of how your item meets the needs of the Government, past performance of at least two recent references where the contractor has sold the same products. The Government will evaluate the technical capability of the product to meet the Government's needs, delivery (this the FIRST concern, no deviation from below stated delivery date), and price. Award will be made on an "all or none" bases. All Contractors submitting an offer are reminded that you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database to be considered for award.
