This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This requirement will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures IAW FAR 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FUFPC292450200 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-06. This requirement is unrestricted. The SIC code is 4813, Telegraph Communications, except radio telephone, size standard is 1500. The requirement consists of 50 ea 1910 Secure Crypto Modem, General Dynamics P/N or equal. Delivery will be made to Randolph AFB, TX on or about 24 Dec 99. It is the intent of the government to award a contract on a sole source basis to General Dynamics Advanced Technology Systems, Inc. pursuant to Far 6.302-1. Interested parties capable of providing the above, must submit their written price, and technical proposals providing firm evidence of their ability to perform.
