This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Space Science Studies and Asssessments, Solicitation No. 1-041-OBB.1006, which was posted on November 22, 1999. You are notified that the following changes are made: The anticipated release date for the Final RFP is changed from January 4, 2000, to December 13, 1999, with a proposal due date of on or about January 28, 2000. The due date of December 7, 1999, for receipt of industry comments to the draft solicitation remains as is. This procurement will provide for proposal and mission concept evaluations, assessments of current and potential NASA programs, and management, scientific and technical studies. The contract will be administered by Langley's Space Science Support Office (SSSO). The SSSO mission is to provide evaluations, assessments, and studies to NASA's Office of Space Science (OSS) and Office of Earth Science (OES). Administrative support required to perform the effort and information management services to support the SSSO is included as well. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet and are in Microsoft Office Suite (Word 6.0, Excel 5.0, or PowerPoint 4.0) format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
