Janiak, Contracting Officer, (202) 663-4222 The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Headquarters intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order to New Year Tech for the maintenance and support of the bar code data collection systems. The contractor will provide ongoing maintenance and support for the productive operation of all Government owned Intermec bar code laser scanners used in the Property Management Inventory System (PMIS) including hardware repairs. The maintenance support includes but is not limited to responding to technical assistance, hardware maintenance to and from depot supporting field offices, provide training for EEOC employees, and respond to inquires on scanners including programming modifications. The period of performance will be for one year. Other firms may submit information identifying their capability to provide the required service. This information will be considered, however, only if clear and convincing documentation including technical information that substantiates the firms capability to provide the maintenance within 15 calendar days of this sysnopsis.
