The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM)) intends to place a class of orders under the Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-99-G-0011 with Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC), Logistics Technology Center (LTC) to accomplish aircraft change modifications, trainer-peculiar upgrades, repairs, trainer documentation updates, engineering technical support and services and technical data for the F-14 Maintenance Trainer Suite at NAMTRAGRUDET 1007, NAS Oceana, VA during the fiscal year 2000. Additionally, courseware change modules, both hardware and on disk, will be delivered for the aircraft changes. Initial cadre training presentations for the aircraft changes will be ordered from NGC LTC. NGC LTC is the F-14 Maintenance Trainer Suite Configuration Manager and is the only known contractor possessing the technical knowledge and expertise to accomplish these efforts with minimal trainer down time and risk. Initial cadre training is to be conducted using the aircraft or trainer, whichever is available, and NGC LTC is the only contractor capable of delivering the training information in this scenario to meet Fleet requirements prior to arrival of modifications in aircraft.
