Section C.2(f) change to read: HUD does not require a title policy to close HUD properties. The purchase of a title policy is strictly at the purchaser's discretion. The option to purchase and choice of Title Company used shall be left to the purchaser, the broker/agent or lender. No referral fees shall be collected by contractor from any title company as a result of ordering title polices or commitments for HUD-owned property. Section C.3(2) change to read: Coordinate with purchaser, broker, and if appropriate, mortgagee, to establish a firm closing date on or before that date specified in Item 9 of the Sales Contract. The closing site shall be located within the geographic boundaries of the contract, in a mutually agreed upon site which does not require buyers to travel in excess of 100 miles (one way). In cases of Third Party closings, contractor will be required to travel to the location. As required by Section C, the Contractor will maintain at least one (1) acceptable office in the contract area with a staff knowledgeable in the contract responsibilities. Section C.3(4) change second business day to third business day. Section C.3(4)(ii)change to read: A copy of the Tax Certificate or sufficient documentation. Section C.3(4) (iii) change word original to copy of the dated Wire Transfer confirmation. The Note: immediately following Section C.3(4)(v) change pre-closing to closing. In the paragraph immediately following Section C.3(10)(iv)(5) change GTR/GTM to M&M. Section C.3(11) change to read: Deliver the closing package, as described in Section C.3(4), to the M&M or designee no later than three (3) business days after closing. Delete in it's entirety the paragraph begining: This package shall include: original HUD-1, a copy of the Tax Certificate . . . . . . Section C.3(15) change to read: Earnest money is to be wired to U.S. Treasury along with other sales proceeds. If canceled the M&M will inform contractor of the disposition of the earnest money.
