A -- HIGH POWER HALL THRUSTER DEVELOPMENT NASA GRC's intends to award a contract to The Boeing Company, Rocketdyne Propulsion and Power in response to a unsolicited proposal submitted. The effort will be for the development of a conceptual design for a high power (> 10 kW) Hall thruster. Boeing will modify an existing proprietary Hall thruster with anode layer (TAL), test the modified TAL at high power levels, and use the test data to develop a conceptual design of a 10 kW TAL.
