Process must be more cost effective than removal and must leave existing fire protection on the structural framing in place. After treatment the remaining fire proofing insulation must be able to meet U.L. fire rating requirements. Residual material must pass inspection as non-asbestos containing material after remediation is complete. The Government believes W. R. Grace and Co. of Cambridge, MA holds the original manufacturer's information on this remediation process. Responses must received within 45 days of the date of this notice.
