Postal Service is soliciting proposals for an Indefinite Quantity
Contract (IQC) relative to miscellaneous minor repair & alteration
projects at various USPS owned and leased facilities located within the
Buffalo and Rochester areas of the Western New York District, which
includes the New York counties of Allegany, Cattaraugus, Cayuga,
Chautauqua, Chemung, Erie, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Niagara,
Ontario, Orleans, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Tioga, Tompkins, Wayne,
Wyoming, & Yates. The term of the contract will be for one (1) year
with four 1-year renewal options. One or more "Work Orders" will be
issued totaling not less than $10,000.00 nor more than $200,000.00
during the one (1) year period of the contract. The initial limit of
$200,000.00 may be increased by modification as agreed upon by the
Contractor and the Contracting Officer up to the maximum of
$3,000,000.00. Offers will consist of a single multiplier. The
multiplier will be applicable to each and every item of work listed in
the unit price schedule set forth in the specifications. The Postal
Service reserves the right to make multiple awards on this IQC
requirement. Offers will be evaluated according to price and the
quality of the company health & safety plan submitted by the offeror
with the proposal, which is a requirement. Sealed offers will be
received in this office, prior to, but not later than, 4:00 PM ET on
January 18, 2000. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of
offers received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any offer,
or relative standing of the offerors WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED TO ANYONE
until award of the contract is made. Offerors will be notified in
writing upon award of contract. Proposal documents, plans and
specifications will be available on or about December 7, 1999 at a cost
of $15.00 per set (non-refundable) from the Facilities Servie Office,
6 Griffin Road North, Windsor, CT 06006-0300. Only certified checks or
money orders will be accepted, made payable to the Disbursing Officer,
U.S. Postal Service (Reference Solicitation No. 082530-00-A-0018).

District, at (716) 846-2521. Note: A pre-proposal conference will be
held at the Buffalo Processing & Distribution Center in Room B-12, 1200
William St., Buffalo, NY 14240-9991 at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January
