Contract Specialist, 505-248-6795 The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service,
Region 2, has a requirement for an experienced contractor to provide
all necessary labor, materials, services and equipment in connection
with road repairs. The project is located within the San Marcos
National Fish Hatchery and Technology Center, Hays County, Texas. Work
includes, but not limited to, pulverizing the existing asphalt
pavement, stockpiling for reuse as sub-base course, excavation,
stockpiling excavation material, placing aggregate base course,
installing concrete curb and gutter, adjusting valve boxes and manhole,
and placing hot mix asphalt pavement. An offer guarantee is not
required. Payment Bond or Irrevocable Letter of Credit (ILC) is
required from the successful offeror after award. This acquisition is
being issued under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration
Program, SIC Code 1611, and is open to both large and small business.
The price range for this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
Issue date for this solicitation is on or about December 8, 1999.
