requirement is for a quantity 115 each, in accordance with Bell
Helicopter Textron, Inc. part number applicable to the AH-64 Aircraft.
FOB Origin with a qty. 115 each to XU Trans Ofc, Red River Army Depot,
Texarkana, TX 75507-5000. This item is serial numbered item and a
flight safety part. Manufacture of this part requires use of master or
coordinated tooling. If only one set of tooling exists and cannot be
made available to another source for manufacture of this part. An
alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control
activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government
engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by
the Government engineering activity have jurisdiction over the part in
the intended application. Sources of supply for this part are Kaydon
Corp., Muskegon, MI 49443 and Bell Helicopter Textron, Fort Worth TX

This proposed contractual action is for supplies which cannot be
procured through full and open competition because the authority cited
states only a limited number of responsible sources and no other
supplies or services will satisfy the Agency requirement, FAR 6.302-1.
