Material Shall be FDDI,62.5/125nm, dual window, graded index, multimode glass fiber, complying with ANSI/EIA/TIA-492AAAA. In addition, the attenuation coeefficient shall be no greater 3.75 dB/km at 850nm and 1.5 dB/km at 1300 nm, and the information transfer capacity (bandwidth) shall be no less than 160 MHZ-km at 850 nm and 500 MH-km at 1300 nm. It is recommended that the contractor verify continuity and attenuation of the bulk cable before installation, by OTDR testing.
