Could PTO explain the statement on the first page of the CBD notice "
Each individual disk component (without mirroring or RAID) must support
a workload of at least 50 input/output operations per second in a non
cached environment with utilization kept under 30%." Why is this
necessary if the vendor is willing to meet or exceed the total overall
subsystem performance? Answer: PTO monitors the current production
storage subsystem down to the component level. PTO has determined that
due to the nature of the software performance on queries against the
patent text search database, that individual disk component performance
