Boiler Ash 1200 tons Total estimated annual tonnage 3959 tons The following is a profile analysis approved by Texas Natural Resources Conservation Commission through August 2003: Parameters TNRCC limit RRAD actual Cadmium 0.5 mg/l 0.06 mg/l Chromium 5.0 mg/l Below Detection Lead 5.0 mg/l Below Detection TPH 1500 mg/kg 109 mg/kg Benzene 0.5 mg/l Below Detection Landfill accessible Monday-Friday between 0800-1700 hours. Self-dumping trucks including roll-off containers, front-load compactors, unitized compactor containers, conventional dump, rear load luggers,and conventional housing trucks will deliver to the landfill. No assistance is required for dumping unless mud at the landfill during inclement weather requires the trucks to be towed. Plan to award a fixed price contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder for the evaluated price. The contract- period will run for one year plus three option years. Execution of the option years are at the sole discretion of the government. Critical evaluation factor is the cost of hauling from Red River Army Depot (RRAD) to the landfill. The evaluated price will be calculated by adding the transportation cost to the total price of the contract. Hauling costs are $3.00 per mile (one-way only) for an estimated 100 trips monthly. The total estimated annual tonnage is 3,959 tons. The provision at FAR, 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Evaluated price = (price per ton * total estimated annual tonnage) + (transportation costs) Transportation costs = (one-way distance to landfill * $3.00) * est. 100 trips per month * 12 months Please provide a written quote with the price per ton for each type of waste above (or one price if it is the same for each type of waste) and the distance from RRAD to the landfill.
