The Department of Defense Education Activity intends (DoDEA) to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Education Development Center to conduct training, develop materials, and plan follow-up activities for the new educational leaders in DoDEA. The purpose of this training is to develop instructional leadership for new assistant principals, principals, assistant superintendents, and superintendents to focus on their role of fostering excellence in teaching and learning, to develop the skills necessary to improve the quality of the school improvement process, and to develop leadership skills.
