The project area is located along the southern channel of the West End of KVK Channel. The project consists of the dredging and disposal of non-rock and entire drilling, blasting, dredging and disposal of rock. The scope of work also includes the sampling testing of subsurface materials at locations. The non-rock materials unmsuitable for the HARS placement will be disposed at the Governemtn designated Confined Disposal Facility of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey located at the entrance of Elizabeth Channel.The estimated cost range for this project is $25,000,000.00 to $50,000,000.00. Completion time for this project is 480 calendar days.The SIC CODE is 1629. Solicitation documents will be available on or about 22 December 1999.
