This Kit is used on the detachable 40mm Grenade Launcher. The Kit consists of a Mounting Bracket Assembly, Socket Head Drilled Screw, Handguard Assembly, Locking Bar, Quadrant Sight Spacer, Quadrant Sight Clamp, Bracket Assembly, washers and screws. Knowledge of wrought steel machining, investment casing, plastic molding, assembly, and packaging are required in the manufacture of this item. The Government intends to award a five-year best value indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract for the M203A1 Modification Kit and 7 spare parts. The anticipated most probable quantities for the M203A1 Modification Kit are as follows: Fiscal Year (FY) 2000 -- 3,850 each; FY 2001 -- 0 each; FY 2002 -- 0 each; FY 2003 -- 0 each; FY 2004 -- 0 each. The guaranteed quantity is 3,850 each. The anticipated maximum quantities for the M203A1 Modification Kit are as follows: FY 2000 -- 7,500 each; FY 2001 -- 2,500 each; FY 2002 -- 2,500 each; FY 2003 -- 2,500 each; FY 2004 -- 2,500 each.
