McGuirk, Contracting Officer at (410) 762-6486 The Engineering Logistics Center is seeking qualified sources that can perform the overhaul/repair of Pratt & Whitney FT4A Free (power) Turbines (NSN 2835-01-269-5650 and 2835-01-259-5649) and Gearbox (NSN 2835-01-089-9299). This is a requirements type contract with one (1) base year plus four (4) option years. These turbines are used on the 378' High Endurance Cutter and 400' Ice Breakers. The standard repair specification (SRS) provides the requirement for the receipt, disassembly, inspection, and condition/test reports, overhaul/repair, re-assembly, testing, preservation and packing of the Coast Guard configured free (power) turnbine/gearbox. All efforts shall bemade in accordance wiht Pratt & Whitney/turbo Power & Marine specifications, standards, and recommended procedures. This will be a full and open competitiion requirement utilizing: (1) OEM Pratt & Whitney parts only, (2) OEM Technical Representative shall be present during specific phases of the overhaul/repair and, (3) OEM Technical Representative will be present during the installation of a power turbine overhauled under this contract.
