Walker, 410-642-1104 The VA Maryland Health Care System, Perry Point, Maryland Medical Center is seeking an Architect/Engineering Firm to prepare 100% complete construction design/development, drawings, technical specifications and cost estimate for projects #512-172A and 512-172B, Renovate Ward 14B for a Day Treatment Center and Demolition of Building 10H. This project will be designed as two separate construction projects. Work to include: Renovation of the second floor of building 14H for use as a psychiatric day treatment center which includes, but is not limited to demolition, electrical, carpentry, masonry, metal, mechanical work, and any other craft necessary to accomplish the work, and, the demolition of building 10H to include, but not limited to the complete removal of the structure, capping and re-routing of all site utilities and restoration of grounds. And provide as-built drawings on both mylar and auto-cad. The estimated construction cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. A/E firms must be located within a 120 mile radius of the Perry Point, Maryland Medical Center. Interested firms shall submit two (2) copies of updated Standard Form 254 and 255 for consideration to the Contracting Officer (90C), VA Medical Center, PO Box 1000, Building 101, Room 26, Perry Point, Maryland 21902-1000 on or before January 7, 2000 by close of business (4:30PM local time).
