R -- TEMPORARY TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES SOL N00168-00-Q-B026 DUE 121499 POC Ms. Tracy Holland (301) 295-0286 The National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD intends to award a sole sourced interim contract for transcription services for five months to Mediquest Inc. (DDI) for the period of 14 Dec 99 through 14 May 2000. The service will include transcription support for physician dictation into patient medical records for the Inpatient Medical Records Division. The services of a digital dictation system via electronic transmission with existing phone lines. Material being transcribed includes technical, anatomic, medical and surgical terminology and requires a broad knowledge of the specialized vocabulary in medicine and surgery. Company is expected to transcribe up to 7000 lines per day. No telephone calls will be accepted concerning this requirement. Capability package can be faxed to (301) 295-0294 and will be reviewed. Award company must have prior to receipt of award be currently registered in DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR), have a Cage Code, DUNS number and federal tax identification number.
