The purposes of this action are to provide certain additional information concerning the printing specifications, and, to extend the closing date as follows. Item (1) Attachment B -- The typical paper and color specificaitons for a brochure are: 80 lb. Risco Gloss, white stock Finished size: 9.5 x 17 inches; Folded to 4.25 x 9.5 inches Printed two-sides, 8-panel, 2-fold (per issue) Printed two colors black plus (1) PMS spot color Output from electronic files in QuarkXpress. Item (2) Attachment C -- The possible variations of the newsletter are: 24; 28; 32 pages The page count is always divisible by 4 There are 4 to 6, on average, halftones per issue. Item (3) Under Specific Requirements of the SOW, please estimate shipping costs for initial mailing and distribution at 1st, 3rd and 4th class based on the page counts estimated in the pricing section. Most other publications are delivered in bulk to OTS or the distribution (fulfillment) vendor.
