The Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center is soliciting interested bidders for the purchase and delivery of a tow behind PTO driven bi-directional power rake, (Harley PRO 8 or equal) and a high lift, (Harley MOdel B or equal). the range of this project is between 25,000 and 100,000 dollars. The standard industrial classification for this project is: 3537 and is 100% set-aside for small business. This is a combinded synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition subpart 12.6 as suplemented with additiona information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation NBR DAHA2000T9008 is issued under is issued under request for quotation procedures. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition circular 97-13. The following is a description of the minimum specifications: This is a tow-behind system which must be able to operate with a Ford 65hp tractor. System must be able to demonstrate the ability to pick-up as small as 20 millimeter bullets and as large as 25lb practice bombs. System will sift and deposit debris in a 1 cubic yard "high dump box." Box must be able to lift debris to a minimu height of 8 feet for removal. Successful bidder shall provide all operator and maintenance training.
