325-6960 The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has received an
unsolicited proposal from Vanderbilt University entitled "Radiation
Effects in Microelectronics". Review of the proposal indicates it is
unique and innovative. As a result, DTRA plans to negotiate a sole
source contract with Vanderbilt University. The University is the only
known center for comprehensive studies in radiation effects relating
to semiconductor electronics. In addition, the equipment necessary to
pursue this research, including the Thermally Stimulated Current (TSC)
analyzer and the Aracor Low-Power X-Ray tester, is resident at the
University. Posted 12/08/99 (W-SN406721). (0342) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0003 19991210\A-0003.SOL)
