The project consists of the construction of a 31,200 square foot office/dining hall complex, a 10,000 square foot office/storage facility, a 212 square foot guard house, associated site improvements (parking lot, landscaping, etc.) and utilities, including a new signalized entry to the base property. Associated work includes the relocation of some existing modular kitchen equipment and the demolition of three buildings (approximately 40,000 square feet). The magnitude of this construction project is between $5 million and $10 million. This solicitation is being advertised on an UNRESTRICTED basis inviting full and open competition. The sic code is 1542 and the size standard is $17 million. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation resulting from the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to this solicitation will be "BEST VALUE" to the Government, technical factors and price considered.
