This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The information required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ linked above or it may be accessed at http://procurement.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/EPS/bizops.cgi?gr=C&;pin=. NASA/GRC plans to acquire the following items: Item 1, one(1)each, water vapor cryopump,fast cycle type 3600 watts heat removal cap ability at -100 degrees C, dual cooling loop capability, water cooled, 20B VAC 3 phase, system control module with temperature/pressure indicators and alarms; Item 2, two (2) each, insulated flexible hose for use with Item 1 above, copper lines with foam insulation, 8 feet long with flexible ends; Item 3, two (2) each, insulated flexible hose for use with cryopump above copper lines with foam insulation, 3 1/2 feet in length and custom made for the system offered in Item 1 above.
