DUE 123199 POC Wayne Wolf, Project Leader, (256) 313-2918; e-mail, wayne.wolf@redstone.army.mil, or FAX (256) 313-2940 The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Product Manager for the Test Equipment Modernization Program (PM-TEMOD) is responsible for the acquisition of state-of-the-art, commercial/non-developmental general purpose test equipment. The new equipment will be used to standardize the inventory and replace existing obsolete test equipment. A draft specification has been developed for a Four-Channel Oscilloscope. The Oscilloscope shall be portable and operate with a bandwidth and sample rate of 500 MHz and 2 GSa/s, respectively. The Oscilloscope shall be controlled by a microprocessor with built-in self-test capability. The Oscilloscope's outputs shall be viewed on a full color display. The Oscilloscope shall be compatible with IEEE-488.2 Interface Bus Standards. A questionnaire will be developed to assist the Government in defining the final specification by providing information about the technical capabilities of available commercial/non-developmental Oscilloscopes. No decision has been made at this time as to the type of procurement; i.e., full and open competition versus small business set-aside.
