The requirement is for Maintenance and Installation of Security Alarms/IDS and Fire Detection Systems at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. The successful contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials and equipment necessary to performance all work in accordance with the solicitation's Statement of Work. Period of performance shall include a base effort of six months duration and two twelve month options. Two-STEP BID (FAR Part 14.5) procedures shall be utilized for this acquisition. Step-One shall be issued as a Letter Request For Technical Proposal (LTFTP). Offerors that submit technically unacceptable proposals in Step One shall disqualified from participation in Step Two. The LTFTP shall be issued on or about 27 December 1999. A Firm-Fixed Price Contract is anticipated.
