QUARTERS. On or about 12/13/99, this office will issue a Request for
Proposal for construction of alternate quarters at Lowry City MO.
Proposals will be opened on 1/12/00 at 3:00 PM. THIS IS NOT A PUBLIC
PROPOSAL OPENING. A pre-proposal conference will be held on 12/21/99 at
10:00 AM at the Lowry City MO Post Office. The value of the work is
estimated to be between $210,000 and $225,000. Description of the work
is: Project is to include conversion of existing leaded building and
parking areas. The contractor will be required to commence work within
10 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed and complete
within 60 calendar days. Liquidated damages will be accessed.
Performance and payment bonds will be required. There will be a
NON-REFUNDABLE FEE FOR PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. After 12/7/00, contact
"Jorji" at Kelly Blueprint, 8877 West 75th, Overland Park, KS
66204-2275, telephone 913/341-2333, for the cost per set and to order
plans and specifications. Do not sendmoney to the Postal Service. Plans
and specifications will be furnished and mailed by Kelly Blueprint.
