One site of road bank/slope stabilization consist of approximately 588 linear feet of railroad pilings. Any disturbed areas will be reseeded and mulched. Items of work include: Channel Clearing & Shaping, 2 JOBS; Seeding & Mulching, 1 ACRE; Mobilization & Demobilization, 1 JOB; Rock Riprap, 910 TONS; Grout, 44 C.Y.; Rail Road Rail Piling, 588 L.F.; Guard Rail Cribbing, 360 L.F. Prospective bidders, subcontractors, and vendors may assemble for a pre-bid conference and group showing of the site on Wednesday, January 12, 2000, at 10:00 A.M. (EST) at the Boyd County Conservation District Office, 12250 Midland Trail Road, Ashland, Kentucky (606) 928-8027 for directions only). Estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Bid security will be required if offer is $100,000.00 or greater. If offer is less than $100,000.00, no bid security will be required, however alternative payment security must be provided by the sucessful offeror.
