The contractor shall furnish all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to provide custodial services to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station/NAWCAD Complex. Custodial services applies to all designated spaces including but are not limited to; offices, lobbies, lounges, clubs, recreational buildings, corridors, stairways, balconies, porches, lab and shop areas, restrooms, locker rooms, laundry rooms, computer areas, kitchens, nursery, commissary, hospital and dental lab. This requirement will support approximately 226 buildings with a population of 6,500 personnel. An electronic solicitation will be available on or about 14 January 2000. The projected date for receipt of proposals is 14 February 2000. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 7349, Building Cleaningand Maintenance Services, with a size standard of 12 million. This project is 100% Small Business Set a Side. Terms of the contract will be one year with one six month option. This procurement will be conducted using Source Selection Procedures. Contract award will be based on the best value to the Government considering price and non-price related factors as outlined in the solicitation.
