It will close on or about January 31, 2000. This solicitation is for an IDC with the following FSC's to be covered: 5915, 5920, 5930, 5945, 5950, 5961, 5998, and 5999. Solicitation will not be available until approximately 30 days after published in the CBD. Specifications, plans and drawings are not available. The proposed acquisition contains an option to extend the contract. One or more times at the descretion of the government. The total extension shall not exceed four (4) years. This acquisition is for supplies which the government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data; therefore, the government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources. Items appear to be sole source to Grimes Aerospace Company. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award may be based on a combination of price, delivery and past performance as described in this solicitation.
