E-MAIL: Click here to contact the contracting officer via, wgreene@IBB.GOV. 59 -- The Broadcasting Board of Governors, International Broadcasting Bureau (BBG/IBB), Office of Contracts, Simplified Acquisitions Branch, (CON/SA), has a requirement for a contractor to rebuild fourteen Communication & Power Industries (CPI) 4CV100,000C power tetrodes using duds supplied by BBG/IBB. The BBG/IBB anticipates awarding a firm-fixed-price contract (purchase order) utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as specified in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Part 13, to the responsible quoter (offeror) whose price quotation conforming to a forthcoming RFQ is most advantageous to the BBB/IBB, based on the quoter's ability to meet the requirements of the 4CV100,000C IBB Engineering Rebuilt Tube Specification. These tubes produced shall have the demonstrated capability of successfully operating as drive tubes in HF transmitters that produce 250 kW output power. Request for Quotation No. CON-00-0005 is scheduled for release by CON/SA on December 27, 1999. Responses to the forthcoming RFQ are due to CON/SA by the close of business (5 p.m. EST), Friday, January 28, 2000. Firm interested in receiving a copy of the RFQ must request such receipt in writing to the Contractor Officer, Mr. Wayne Greene, via facsimile at (202) 205-0863 or E-mail at wgreene@IBB.gov. All written requests for copies of the RFQ must be received by CON/SA by December 27, 1999; and such requests shall include the RFQ number, the requestor's company name, the name of the company's point-of-contract (POC), the company's mailing address, and the POC's telephone and facsimile numbers.
