This is a SOURCES SOUGHT for technical and scientific support for research, development, integration, test and evaluation of Electro optical radar systems, advanced imaging systems, microwave sensors, electronic warfare, and ancillary equipment for Navy and Marine Corps aircraft. The tasks performed under this contract is in support of the Avionics Competency AIR 4.5, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), to include but will not be limited to: F/A-18D/F tactical reconnaissance systems [Advanced Tactical Air Reconnaissance Systems (ATARS) and Super Hornet Advanced Reconnaissance Pod (SHARP)]; P-3 Special Systems (TOSS/Cluster Ranger/MBOSS); Precision Targeting Identification; F-14D Tactical Air Reconnaissance Pod System-Digital Imaging/Complete Digital (TARPS-D1/CD); Imagery Enhancements through software development/upgrades; Ballistic Missile Defense Surveillance Technology; UAV sensor development and test; Infrared Sensor analysis, development and test; radar and Microwave Technology (AMRFS/UESA); Electronic Warfare (Expendables/jammers/passive ID & classification); and Conference Support. The level of effort is estimated at 115,000 man hours per year for a total level of effort of 575,000 hours for one (1) base year plus four (4) optional follow-on years to be assessed and awarded on an annual basis.
