USGS has a requirement for (1) black and white aerial photography, delineation of landslides and documenting post-Mitch conditions for selected municipalities in Honduras; (2) color aerial photography mapping storm impact to the Caribbean Coast, plus Gulf of Fonseca. Specifications: (1) flown to yield photo scales of 1:40,000; (2) provide stero coverage with 60% overlap of consecutive photo frames along flight lines, and 30% sidelap between photo frames of adjacent flight line; (3) tilt and roll shall not exceed four degrees; and (4) aerial photograph shall be obtained in such a manner as to minimize shadows and shall be cloud-free.
