The design will include all work associated with the mechanical attachment of an EIFS "Dryvitt" type exterior waterproofing system over the existing deteriorating waterproofing surface. The existing waterproofing surface contains non-friable asbestos and except for various deteriorated areas will be left in place. The design will also provide for the removal, cleaning, repair and reinstallation of all mechanical and electrical attachments and downspouts as required. The A/E will also provide for the removal of existing mechanical attachment rods for concrete forms which are embedded in various locations of the existing exterior surface that remain from a previous project. Repair of the existing terra cotta parapet walls and decorative ornaments, installation of a metal cap on the parapet wall and various other items of work will be included in the project design. The cost range for construction is $2,000,000 to $5,000,000. SIC code is 8712.
