The mowing maintenance operation is comprised of two (2) cycles of mowing and cutting of approximately 400 acres of grass, shrubs, brush and small trees located on the west flood protection levee on the Channel to Victoria in Calhoun and Victoria Counties, Texas, between channel stations 905+00 and 1841+22. The South limit-station 905+00 is at the intersection of the Victoria Barge Canal and Highway 35. The North limit- station 1841+22 is at the upper end of the Victoria Barge Canal, Pickering Basin, and will be marked by goverment personnel. Limits of work are shown in the Scope of Work. Mowing limits extend to both sides from the centerline of the existing roadway which is located on top of the flood protection levee. Any damage to the existing roadway caused by the Contractor shall be restored to its original condition at the Contractor's expense. The roadway shall be inspected in its pre-work condition and documented with either photography or video tape.
