The U.S. Coast Guard will be issuing a solicitation for lodging in the Sitka, Alaska area. The facility must be within walking distance of Harrigan Centennial Hall and the Moose Lodge located in Sitka, Alaska. General specifications of Lodging services for all rooms: all rooms must have access to restrooms/bathing facilities located within rooms. Lodging shall include all linens and room cleaning service as well as change of linens minimum of three times weekly. Lodging period will be 24-28 February 2000 through 10-13 March 2000. The approximate total number of rooms needed are as follows: 176 singles, 270 doubles and 4 single rooms for security personnel. Note: The security personnel must be lodged in a facility, which permits the possession of a weapon. One source does not have to provide all the required rooms. Performance shall be in accordance with the standards contained in the Statement of Work and applicable purchase order clauses contained in the solicitation. This solicitation is unrestricted. The SIC Code is 7011. The contract type will be Firm Fixed Price. Multiple awards may be made. The solicitation will be issued on or about 03 January 2000 and shall close on or about 18 January 2000.
