project was originally synopsized under Solicitation No.
DACA67-00-B-0006. All prior requests for the plans and specifications
will be processed under the new solicitation number and should not be
resubmitted. The project consists of constructing a 2-story masonry and
standing seam building, approximately 40,000 square feet housing a
combination of aircraft maintainers air mobility unit and aircraft
operators squadron operations facility in the infield area of McChord
AFB WA. Includes utilities, exterior security wall, parking, and other
site improvements associated with project construction. AVAILIBILITY:
This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on
CD-ROM format only. EBS CD-ROM disks with plans and specs available on
or about 3 January 2000 at no charge per set. EBS CD-ROM disks will be
issued on a first-come, first-served basis until supply is exhausted.
No phone requests accepted. Refer to RFP No. DACA67-00-R-0211 when
ordering. Requests MUST BE IN WRITING and received before solicitation
documents will be mailed. Requests may be made: (1) by fax to (206)
764-6817, or (2) by completing the web request form for the
solicitation found at http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/cntrct. Please be
sure to include if you are a Prime, Sub or Plans Room. EBS CD-ROMs may
be picked up from the Plans Room on Monday thru Friday between the
hours of 7:30AM and 3:30PM. Submit requests by 23 Dec 1999. Estimated
project dollar value is in the range of $5,000,000 to $10,000,000 and
the completion period is 365 days. Standard Industrial Classification
is 1542. Project is open to both large and small businesses. If you are
a large business and your proposal exceeds $1,000,000, you will be
required to submit a subcontracting plan. For the purposes of this
procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its average
annual receipts are $17 million or less. Visit the Corps of Engineers
