Proposed sole source modification to add the following equipment to contract N65236-99-C-5038 with Raytheon Systems Company. The following equipment, if procured, will be for Patrol Coastal: UHF channel for AN/USC-54(V), 14 Single Board Modems (SBM), 14 Single Board Receiver/Exciter (SBRE), 14 AM-7552 High Powered Amplifier (HPA), and one Single Board Processor Multiplexer Board (SBPM) for the RT-1711. Quantities are estimates at this time and options for additional components i.e. 6 SBM's, 6 SBRE's, 4 SBPM's and 6 HPA's is anticipated. The requirement has been determined to be sole source in order to insure compatibility with existing systems.
